Interested in becoming a member of the NSW Regional Cancer Research Network?

If you are located in the geographical area covered by one of our partner Local Health Districts and have an interest in undertaking research designed to improve equity of cancer outcomes in regional NSW then you are welcome to become a member of the NSW Regional Cancer Research Network.

Membership is open to researchers, health and medical professionals, staff members of regional cancer support services (public or private), people affected by cancer (including current or past patients, family members and carers), government or policy professionals, members of peak bodies, and other end-users.

Becoming a member of the NSW Regional Cancer Research Network is free and will allow you to:

  • Participate in engagement and knowledge exchange with other health and medical professionals, researchers and consumers via our virtual collaboration platform
  • Form new collaborations to develop and undertaken regional research projects designed to improve cancer health outcomes and service delivery
  • Access research enabling initiatives, including funding and professional research support, designed to drive locally informed research projects
  • Contribute to State and Federal policy discussions around cancer services and cancer research through Network-coordinated submissions to consultations
  • Access specialist research management, administration, and governance expertise to help develop your research ideas and implement them into tangible research projects
  • Stay up to date with locally relevant news, opportunities, workshops and initiatives in cancer research
