Cancer Institute NSW 2024 Research Equipment Grants

Cancer Institute NSW has announced the 2024 Research Equipment Grant (REG) round for members of the following NSW Research Translation Centres:

  •     NSW Regional Cancer Research Network
  •     Sydney Cancer Partners
  •     Maridulu Budyari Gumal – SPHERE

Research Equipment Grants ensure that the state has world class infrastructure to accelerate cancer research and realise clinical benefits.

This scheme will support research infrastructure where there is a clearly demonstrated need and where the equipment will substantially improve research productivity.

In 2024, Cancer Institute NSW will be accepting one (1) application per Centre to be considered for funding which must be endorsed by the Chief Investigator (CI) of the Centre. In this case, the CI of the NSW Regional Cancer Research Network.

To facilitate selection of these applications we are seeking Expressions of Interest from which one (1) application will be selected to proceed to full application with endorsement of Professor Nikola Bowden, CI of NSW Regional Cancer Research Network.
